Russell Lee Spurlin

Russell Lee Spurlin, age 60, of York, PA, died on May 12, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in York. Born in Ennice, NC, he was the son of the late Jesse Gene and Gladys Catron Spurlin. Formerly of Harford County, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Department of Defense as a heavy equipment operator at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Mr. Spurlin is survived by his son, R. Wesley Spurlin of Tucson, AZ; daughter, Lindsay E. Beswick of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Ronnie Spurlin of Dumfries, VA and Aaron Spurlin of Havre de Grace, MD; and sisters, Dorine Butash of Joppatowne, MD and Judy Bennett of Edgewood, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Larry Spurlin and sister, Shirley Spurlin.
