RUSSELL “DICK” CLEMENTS, age 84, of Bel Air, formerly of Annapolis and Cheverly, died at his home on October 19, 2004. Born in Washington, D.C, he was the son of the late Stephen Augusta and Catherine Beatrice Rodda Clements. In 1975, he retired from the US Army as Lt. Colonel after 28 years of service having served his country in WWII and Korea. In 1980, he retired from the US Government where he had been a fiscal officer. He was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Davidsonville, Maryland for about 10 years. His family was very important to him. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed traveling.
Mr. Clements is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Anne Duncan Clements; a son and daughter-in-law, Duncan Stephen and Carole F. Clements of Severna Park; a daughter, Susan A. Osborn of Bel Air; a brother, Robert Stephen Clements of Fredericksburg, Virginia; and three grandchildren, Christopher D. Osborn of Bel Air, Andrew S. Cements of Severna Park and Brian R. Clements of Severna Park.
