RUSSELL AUGUSTUS HALL, age 71, of Bel Air, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on May 20, 2004. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William Russell Hall and Mildred Ellen Kirsch Henry. A resident of Harford County for 10 years, he worked as a tractor trailer driver for 20 years for Ed Hale Port East Transfer Co. For 15 years he was a firefighter for Baltimore City. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-55 stationed in Germany where he served as a medic. He enjoyed his grandchildren.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lois Ann Ritmiller Hall; one son, William Hall of Forest Hill; three daughters, Denise Strong of Perry Hall; Paula Schafer of Bel Air; Elizabeth Connell of Abingdon; one brother, Edward Hall of Parkville; three sisters, Mae Glass of Jarrettsville; Beverly Levine of Towson; MaryLou Klausmeyer of Parkville; and nine grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one grandson.
Pallbearers were Edward Hall, John Schafer, Alex Schafer, David Strong, Colin Strong, and Joseph Connell.
