Rudolph F. Schafert Sr.

Rudolph F. Schafert Sr., age 85, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on August 30, 2014 at his home. Born in Lakewood, NJ, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Stella Schafert. A veteran of the U.S. Airforce, he was a member of the Bel Air American Legion and VFW. He was an avid boater, enjoyed flying and was active in several real estate organizations.

Mr. Schafert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Aino K. Schafert; sons, Rudolph F. Schafert Jr. of Street and Garner L. Schafert of Joppa; daughter, Lisa Marie Tugal of Boxborough, MA; and six grandchildren.
