Rudolf Robert Walter, III, age 82, of Street, Maryland passed away on February 20, 2025, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Rudolf and Genevieve (Sienkiewicz) Walter and husband of Donna (Uelman) Walter. He and his wife Donna would have celebrated their "60" wedding anniversary in June. He was a veteran of the USARMY. He retired as a Colonel from the Army National Guard of Maryland. He enjoyed gardening, working on home improvement projects, family vacations, cruises with his wife, and being surrounded by his grandchildren. He was a Civil war, WWI and WWII history buff and he loved watching all types of sports, especially those involving his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Rudolf is survived by his daughters, Patricia Lauman, Michelle (William) Byers, and Jennifer Dyke; son, Rudolf R. Walter, IV; sister, Darlene Credito; grandchildren, Rachel, Heather, Samantha, Benjamin, Nicholas, Cara, Ashlyn, and Olivia; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jensen, Trevor, Liam, and Adaleigh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Derkowski, and Leonard Derkowski.
