Ruby Marie Berrett

Ruby Marie Berrett, age 90, of Jarrettsville, MD, passed away on August 3, 2013 at her home. Born in Lost River, WV, she was the daughter of the late Riley A. and Susan Elizabeth Strawderman and wife, for 56 years, of the late James Newton Berrett. She was active with the Elkridge Harford Hunt Pony Club, sewing saddle pads and penny's for games, did arts and crafts with Creative Mades, and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was also an avid swimmer at Harford Community College and Bel Air Athletic Club.

Mrs. Berrett is survived by her son, Albert Makowski and wife, Margaret Ann, of Winchester, VA; daughters, Debra Ann Dow and husband, Kevin W., of Bel Air and Diana Lee Berrett of Jarrettsville; sisters, Grace Mongold of WV and Emma Mathias of VA; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Franklin Strawderman and sisters, Mae Delawder and Ethel Perkins.
