Ruby Landora Oliver

Ruby Landora Oliver, age 89, of Perryman, MD, passed away on February 22, 2012 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Henry and Annie Laura Miller Preston and wife of 50 years to the late Frank LaPorte Oliver who she met when she worked for Wilson & Oliver Insurance Agency. A homemaker, she grew up on a dairy farm on Paradise Road in Aberdeen and attended Aberdeen High School. She lived most of her life on Bush River and enjoyed playing the piano, accordion, and sewing.

Mrs. Oliver is survived by her sons, George F. Oliver and Robert L. Oliver of Aberdeen, MD, John P. Oliver of Ogden, UT and Michael Clodfelter of Conway, SC; and sister, Doris Hamilton of Aberdeen, MD; grandchildren, Donna and Amy Oliver of Ogden, UT, Sarah Gowe, of Ogden, UT, and Kirsten and Sean Oliver of Aberdeen, MD; and one great grandchild, Eden Gowe of Ogden, UT.
