RUBY JEAN SILVER, age 66, of Forest Hill, died in Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, on July 6, 2005. Born in Welch, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Herbert and Thelma Elizabeth England Lambert, and the wife of the late Martin A. Silver. She worked as a supervisor in the field of communications. A resident of Harford County for 50 years, she enjoyed working in her yard and her garden. She also enjoyed making quilts and collecting miniature shoes and dolls.
Mrs. Silver is survived by two daughters, Sandra S. Morgan of Forest Hill and Tammy J. Morris of Middle River; two sisters, Pam L. Mackey of Jarrettsville and Ruth A. Lambert of West Virginia; six grandchildren, Jessica B. Basta of Havre de Grace, Amy K. Basta of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jason C. Basta of Abingdon, Amber C. Morris, Ashley L. Morris, and Austin J. Morris, all of Middle River; three great-grandchildren, Ethan W. Humphrey of Havre de Grace, Nicholas J. Morris of Middle River, and Connor W. Humphrey of Havre de Grace.
