Ruby F. Rockwell

RUBY F. ROCKWELL, age 70, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on April 16, 2008 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Booker Lee and Ann Lee DeBoard. She had worked in a plastics factory and enjoyed dancing, traveling, and writing short stories. She also liked to read Christian novels and listen to music. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rockwell is survived by her son Kenny Rockwell and his wife, Denise, of Havre de Grace, MD; a brother, Raymond DeBoard of Aberdeen, MD; a sister, Myrtle Barban of Elkton, MD; five grandchildren, Christopher "Mr. C" Rockwell of Harrisburg, PA, April Hubbs of Port Deposit, MD, Regina Daughtery of Duncannon, PA, Jennifer "Ms. Jenny" Abrams of Gaithersburg, MD, and Angela "Little Imp" Baker of Havre de Grace, MD; and nine great-grandchildren, D'Artagnon Hubbs and Vladimir Hubbs of Port Deposit, MD, Joshua Scott, Lexy Daughtery, and Stewart Daughtery of Duncannon, PA, Mia Abrams and Tyler Abrams of Gaithersburg, MD, and Jay Baker and Julianna Baker of Havre de Grace, MD.

Pallbearers were Chris Rockwell, Mat Booth, Walt Abrams, Eric Hubbs, L.J. Baker, and Raymond DeBoard.
