Ruby Ethel Haynes

Ruby Ethel Haynes, 96, passed away on January 16, 2013 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Galax, VA on February 14, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Rush and Inez (Huff) Haynes and predeceased by sisters, Cora Pearl Roberson and Virginia Ruth Doran. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and retired from Towson University. She enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations and liked baking desserts from recipes she had collected over the years. She also enjoyed returning to her birthplace, Galax, VA, to visit with relatives.

She is survived by her nieces, Linda Stevenson and Marlene Rose, nephews, Larry Neal, John Doran Jr., Nelson Doran and Alan Doran; great-nieces and nephews, Erin Stevenson, Kristin Zajdel, Jonathan and Stuart Neal, Syntha Neal Lee, Dan Doran and Jill Valentin, and Pamela Ungham and Kevin Rose; great-grand nieces and nephews, Cheyenne and Logan Doran, Haley Zajdel, Ivy Ungham, Gabriel and Xavier Valentin, Drew and Christian Arnold, Aleya Arnold, and Yushi Neal.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Doran, Kevin Rose, Eric Gregory, Rick Ungham, Ronnie Zajdel, and Erick Valentin. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Neal, John Doran, Jr., Nelson Doran, and Alan Doran.
