Roy Crouse

Roy Herbert Crouse, 77, of Street, Maryland passed away on July 29, 2022, at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, Maryland after a short battle with cancer.

Born on October 1, 1944, in Sparta, North Carolina, he was the son of Herbert Crouse and Ruby Rash. Roy moved to Harford County, Maryland at a young age where he resided until his passing. He married Patsy LaDean Crouse on September 14, 1963, and together they raised their four children.  He worked as a truck driver at J. Gibson McIlvain’s for 55 years. Roy attended Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Rising Sun, MD.

Roy is survived by his children, Roy Junior Crouse and his wife Jane, Gary Lee Crouse and his wife Dawn, John Matthew Crouse and his wife Christie, Brenda Gale Wright, and her husband Timothy; grandchildren, Kevin Tieman, Tabitha Wright and her husband Daniel Aiken, Zachary Crouse, Coty Crouse, April Crouse and her husband Enguelberth Ramos, Faith Crouse, Amber Crouse, Tanner Crouse; and siblings, Rose, Boyd, Sonny, Dale, Michael, and Audrey. He was preceded in death by his parents in 2005 and his wife who recently passed in May 2022.

Roy was a hard-working man who loved God, his family, his job, and going out to eat. He will be greatly missed.
