Roy Allen Zuber, age 80, of Bel Air, MD passed away on December 3, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Schuylkill Haven, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Sarah Aulenbach Zuber. A graduate of Baltimore Poly-Tech Institute, he was also a 1962 graduate of the University of Baltimore, a veteran of the U.S. Army and an active member of the VFW Post #5337 in Abingdon. He was also faithful and active as an Elder and Deacon at Hamilton Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He enjoyed following politics and was actively involved in current legislative issues and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Zuber retired after 43 years of service with BGE.
Mr. Zuber is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Zuber of Bel Air; daughter, Andrea Lynn Zuber of Keller, TX; sons, Douglas Scott Hays and wife, Sherry, of Fayettville, GA and Jeffrey William Hays and wife, Judy, of Belcamp; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Donald Zuber.
