Rosemary J. Summers

Rosemary J. Summers, age 60, of Abingdon, MD, died on June 3, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Louise Portscher Marshall of Darlington, MD and the late Walter William Ward. A Harford County resident for 18 years, she worked at the Rite Aid Distribution Center in Perryman for over 10 years. She enjoyed gardening, baking and taking long drives in the country.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Summers is survived by her husband of 37 years, Thomas Wayne Summers Sr. of Abingdon, MD; son, Wayne Summers of Belcamp, MD; brothers, Albert J. Portscher of Lawton, OK, Jerry W. Ward of Glen Burnie, MD and Michael R. Ward of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Annemarie M. Harris of Bel Air, MD and Barbara J. Heinrich of Hampton, NH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
