Rosemary Crowther

Rosemary Crowther, age 61, of Edgewood, MD, died on September 14, 2010 at her home. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Nevin and Dorothy Sawyer Welling. She moved to Harford County in 1975 and worked at various locations as a cosmetologist and hairstylist, which included Holiday Hair in Edgewood, and Just a Trim and Emma Lou's, both in Bel Air. She most recently worked as a cook for Brightview Assisted Living, making the residents all types of good soups, and was well known for her many homemade Thanksgiving dinners.

Mrs. Crowther is survived by her husband, who she married in 1965, Raymond Crowther of Edgewood, MD; daughter, Marcy Caudill of Edgewood, MD; brothers, James Nevin Welling Jr. of Baltimore, MD and David Welling of AZ; three grandchildren, Andrew Cullum, Amanda R. Crowther, and Destiny S. Caudill; and one great-grandchild, Desirae Brown. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Dorthea Bayne.
