ROSE REEVES TAYLOR, 76, of Bel Air died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on January 11, 2004. Born in Bel Air, she was the daughter of the late George Carl, Sr. and Mallie Mary Moxley Reeves and the wife of the late Andrew Benjamin Taylor. A lifelong resident of Harford County, she worked at Edgewood Arsenal during WWII making hand grenades. She had also worked for Harford County Public Schools at Bel Air High School Cafeteria for four years and with her brother at the family business, the Artic Circle for 38 years. She was a past member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Antioch Baptist Church. She loved to visit people and delighted in the company of family and friends.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by a son, Harry G. Taylor of Bel Air; a daughter, Pamela J. Dennis of Elkton; four brothers, Ellis Van Reeves of Bel Air and George Carl Reeves, Jr. of Bethany Beach, Delaware, Oscar Reeves of Sparta, North Carolina, and John Van Reeves of Sparta, North Carolina; a sister, Sue Underwood of Homestead, Florida; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Charles (Rusty) Creswell, Phil Creswell, Richard Reeves, David Reeves, John Reeves, Charles Dennis, III, and Richard Dennis.
