Rose Mary Coats

Rose Mary Coats, 85, of Joppa, MD passed away quietly at home with her family on February 9, 2015. Born in Jodie, WV, she was the daughter of the late Hobart Garrett and Violet Olive Skaggs Williams and wife of the late Devon Thomas Coats. A charter member of Towne Baptist Church, she loved spending time in her home with her family.

Mrs. Coats is survived by her son, Devon T. Coats and wife, Merrily, of Towson; daughters, Shelby L. Wilson and husband, Doug, of Perry Hall and Lisa Galanis and husband, Andreas, of Joppa; sisters; Imogene Hall, Betty Lou Foster and Oliveann Foster all of West Virginia; and grandchildren, Bryan P. Coats, Andreas I. Galanis II, and Brittany M. McCarville and husband, Aaron. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Veryl and Vernon Williams.
