Rose Marie Mansfield, age 90, of Joppa, MD passed away on February 14, 2017 at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Midland, MD, she was the daughter of James William and Theresa Helena (Trapp) Winters, and was the wife of the late Patrick V. Mansfield and Robert B. Wilt. She was a 1944 graduate of Beall High School in Frostburg, MD and was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Bradshaw. In the early 1980's she was a Hostess at the Edgewood Burger King where she enjoyed helping others. She has lived at Forest Hill Heights where she was loved by everyone. She enjoyed cooking and baking, flower gardening, sewing, crafting and crocheting, and especially loved taking care of her family.
Mrs. Mansfield is survived by her children, Marie T. Nelson and husband, Gene, of Ripon, WI, Patricia A. Forster and husband, Jeff, of Joppa, Rose H. Jorgenson and husband, Bill, of Street, Elizabeth I. Christian and husband, John, of Street, Kathleen A. Townsley of Sarasota, FL and Timothy P. Mansfield of Churchville; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; and numerous family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Donna J. Champ, and siblings, Mary C. Russell, Agnes C. Robinson, Charles A. Winters, Martha Anna Wilson, Angela T. Knieriem, Joseph R. Winters, John L. Winters and Elizabeth M. Winters.
