Rosanna Morlok Taylor, age 99, of Havre de Grace, Maryland passed away on June 4, 2021 at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Bel Air, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Abingdon, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Christian Louis and Nellie Lavinia (Ely) Morlok, and wife of the late James Alfred Taylor.
Rosanna retired from Harford County Schools where she worked for many years as a Cook at Aberdeen Middle School. She loved yard sales, the outdoors, gardening and playing Solitaire. Rosanna was a humble, strong, and determined woman, who loved her family with all her heart.
Rosanna is survived by her son, Robert James Taylor; daughter-in-law, Frances Taylor; daughter, Shirley Taylor Kuester DeVaughn; three grandsons, Kevin Kuester (Jennifer), Michael Kuester, and James Taylor (Holly); granddaughter, Jaclyn Cogdill (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Daniel Cogdill, Addison and Wyatt Kuester, Kyle and Korey Treadwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son-in-law, Edwin DeVaughn, and brothers, Christian Morlok and Louis Morlok.
The graveside service will be private.
