Rosalie L. Davis

Rosalie L. Davis, 86, formerly of Glasgow, DE, passed away on December 13, 2014 at North Hampton Manor in Frederick MD. Born in Florence, SC, she is the daughter of the late Clarence Douglas and Kate Augusta Dickman Lipscombe and wife of 57 years to the late Dennis Davis. She had worked in Human Resources for DuPont for over 40 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church and its alter guild, and loved to travel.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her son, Michael Davis and his wife, Carol, of Churchville, MD; daughter, Denise Gouker and her husband, Curtis, of Middletown, MD; stepdaughter, Edna Weiner of Oberrieden, Switzerland; siblings, C. Douglas Lipscombe and Mildred Moser, both of Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Severin Weiner, Tom Davis, Mark Weiner, Mandy Davis, Benjamin, Alexa, Daniel and Marissa Gouker; great grandchild, Ryleigh Mitchell; and nieces and nephew, Douglas, Marion and Emily Lipscombe.
