Ronald Eugene Wyatt, Sr.

In the presence of his devoted wife of 64 years and surrounded by his loving family, Ronald Eugene Wyatt, Sr., aged 82, from Abingdon, Maryland, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on December 24, 2023. Born in Sugar Grove, Virginia, he was the son of the late William Wyatt and Elsie (Haga) Hughes.

Ronald is survived by his cherished wife, Elizabeth (McCommons) Wyatt, who was the love of his life; his son, Dr. Ronald (Terri) E. Wyatt, Jr.; his daughter, Lisa (Joseph) Gobble; grandchildren, Jessica (Steven) Reil, Jeremy (Sara) Wyatt, Joshua (Stephanie) Gobble, Rachael (Evan) Greene, and Luke (Abbie) Wyatt. His legacy extends through nine great-grandchildren. Ronald is also survived by his brother, Roger Wyatt (Victoria), sister, Juanita (Jim) Hilton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter Donna Wyatt, brother W. Guy Wyatt, and sister Margaret "Peggy" Doby.

Ronald found joy in watching Fox News, following the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles, spending time at the family beach home in Cape May, New Jersey, capturing precious family moments on camera, and most importantly, treasuring time with his family. In his early years, he pursued hobbies such as hunting, playing softball, and bowling. Ronald was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, Maryland.

Ronald dedicated many years as a Truck Driver at Preston Trucking on the 151 line until its closure in 1999, followed by a continued career at Douglas & Lomason trucking company in Havre de Grace until 2006.
