Ronald W. Saunders Sr.

Ronald Wayne Saunders Sr., "PeeWee", age 64, of Abingdon, MD, died on January 31, 2009 at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, MD. Born January 12, 1945 in Danville, VA, he was the son of Jewell A. Saunders, age 81 of Edgewood, MD, formerly of Pelham, NC, and the late Charlie Lee Saunders Sr. He was a painting contractor for over 30 years, and a member of the Sons of The American Legion, Squadron 47, in Havre de Grace, MD.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Saunders is survived by his sons, R. Wayne Saunders Jr. of Clemmons, NC, Mark R. Saunders of Marietta, GA, Anthony Saunders of Havre de Grace, MD, and Michael Saunders of Aberdeen, MD; brothers, Charlie Saunders Jr. of Pelham, NC and Jerry Saunders Sr. of Edgewood, MD; and five grandchildren, two nephews and four nieces. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Eddie White Saunders.
