Ronald W. Goetze, 68, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on December 30, 2014 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Walter Henry Goetze Jr. and Naomi Ruth Seekford Goetze. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Vietnam War. He was a resident of Harford County for 51 years, and retired in 2008 after 33 years of service from the Harford County Public Schools where he had worked in the IT Department. He enjoyed fishing and in the late 1990's had coached girls softball at Edgewood Parks and Rec.
Mr. Goetze is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beverly Skillman Goetze; son, Christopher B. Goetze of Churchville; daughter, Amy M. Goetze of Edgewood; sisters, Marlene Grasso and husband, Michael, of West Orange, NJ and Sharon Stevanus and husband, Verner, of Joppatowne; and grandchildren, Quincy C., Isaiah N., Malachi T.J., and Noah T.C. Goetze, and Shakieem E.K. Garrison.
