Ronald Rodecker

Ronald Rodecker, age 89, of Edgewood Maryland, passed away on February 25, 2024, at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, Maryland. He was born in Manhattan, New York, the son of the late Cornelius and Violet (Travis) Rodecker, and was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eleanor Rodecker.

Ronald proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He found joy and fulfillment in working with his hands, engaging in various crafts such as woodworking, building wooden dollhouses, model airplanes, and old cars. His creative spirit extended to stained glass artistry and diamond dot projects, always keeping himself busy with his passions.

Ronald is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Larry) Safchuck; son, George Rodecker; grandchildren, Mike Safchuck, Scott Safchuck, Troy Rodecker, Tristyn Rodecker, and Nicole Rodecker; great-granddaughters, Savannah Safchuck and Makenna Safchuck; great-grandson, Mason Rodecker; and brother, Mark Rodecker. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Rodecker Jr., grandchild, Travis Rodecker, and sister, Joan Robinson.
