Ronald P. Merkey

Ronald P. Merkey, 83, of Joppa Magnolia, MD, passed away on October 7, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Pine Grove, PA, he was the son of the late Paul Thomas Merkey and Mada Mae (Miller) Merkey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Edgewood Arsenal/APG where he was a Human Factors Engineer.

Mr. Merkey is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathryn L. Merkey; son, Thomas V. Merkey (Ellen) of Street, MD; and two grandchildren, Sarah Sampson (Doug) and Laura Merkey (fiancé Jason).
