RONALD K. BISKUP, SR. age 67, of Bel Air, MD died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on April 2, 2004. Born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Frank and Irene Biskup. He worked at Edgewood Arsenal from 1959-1977 as a toxicologist. He worked for the Food and Drug Administration in the center of Food Safety and Applied Nutrition from 1977-1995. He served as the Director of Quality Assurance in downtown Washington, D.C. and Parklawn, VA from 1981-1993. He retired as Acting Director of MOD I where he worked from 1993-1995. He worked as a consultant in his field through 2003. He enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler. He was an active member of Churchville Presbyterian Church. He served in the Army from 1959 – 1961.
Mr. Biskup is survived by his wife, Carol B. Lancaster Biskup; one son, Ronald K. Biskup, Jr. of Abingdon, MD; one daughter, Rhonda L. Biskup of Abingdon, MD; one brother, Dennis Biskup and his wife, Patricia of Monaca, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
