Ronald Richard Hejduk, Sr., 69, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born on November 24,1955, in Baltimore, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Rose (Franc) Hejduk.
Ron was a man of many passions and deep connections. A proud member of the Baltimore County Electrical Contractors Association and Baltimore County Fish and Game, he dedicated his life to his work, his hobbies, and the people he loved. His enthusiasm for Harley-Davidson motorcycles was matched only by the joy he found riding the open roads and attending iconic biker rallies like Daytona and Sturgis. He could often be found with a cigar in hand, enjoying the simple pleasure of time outdoors while tossing a ball for his cherished dogs, Molly and Shelby.
Family was the cornerstone of Ron’s life. He treasured time spent with loved ones, especially during vacations to the Poconos, where countless memories were made. A devoted father and mentor, he shared his love of the outdoors and strong sense of character through his long-standing involvement with the Boy Scouts. Having earned his own merit badges as a youth, he found even greater joy guiding his sons through the program. Ron was also a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan, a proud season ticket holder who rarely missed a game.
Above all, Ron will be remembered as a kind and passionate man who embraced life fully and brought warmth to everyone he met. His laughter, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Ronald is survived by his sons, Ronald Hejduk, Jr. and his spouse Jessica, and Ryan Hejduk and his spouse Amanda; daughters, Michelle Hejduk and her spouse Raymond, and Megan Hejduk; grandchildren, Matthew, Maya, Russell, and Jayden; and brother, Joseph F. Hejduk Jr.
