Ronald David Burk Jr., age 46, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on June 7, 2021 at his home. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Ronald David Burk Sr. and Diana Lee Goekeler and husband of Cynthia Marie (Phelan) Burk. He was known as Shorty or RB to a lot of his friends and family. He was a registered Native American with the Chickasaw Tribe. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing. He had a passion for cooking and started to pursue his dream of being a chef. He loved using his family and friends as the guinea pigs. One of his famous lines was “You have to let it rest before you serve it”. He really enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, he was our special entertainer. He sure knew how to make people laugh and have a good time. He was a loving, caring, person who would help anyone out and will be truly missed by so many.
In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his two sons, Jacob Lile-Burk and Christian Lile-Burk; sister, Amber (Robert) Christian; grandparent, Jody (Roger) Pekrul; also survived by a half-sister, half-brother, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, family and friends.
