R. Steven "Bez" Bezeredi

R. Steven "Bez" Bezeredi, age 64, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on December 12, 2024. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Steve was the beloved son of Ronald Bezeredi and the late Ethel (Kellner) Bezeredi. He was the devoted husband of Lisa (Perrett) Bezeredi, with whom he shared over 39 wonderful years of marriage, and loving father to his son Ryan Bezeredi. Steve is also survived by his stepmother, Christine Bezeredi.

Steve dedicated his career to serving others, retiring in 2022 as a Marine Engineer with the Baltimore City Fire Department, where he proudly worked aboard Fire Boat 1. He was highly respected among his colleagues, known for his intelligence, kindness, and camaraderie.

A passionate collector and true enthusiast, Steve’s love for Star Wars knew no bounds. He traveled across the country with family and friends to attend Star Wars events. His love for the saga extended to his cats, affectionately naming them after Star Wars characters.

In addition to his Star Wars devotion, Steve was a train collector and a WWII history buff. He also enjoyed assembling intricate model tanks, ships, and other creations. 

Steve’s warmth, knowledge, and sense of humor made him a cherished friend to many. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
