Ronald Baum Sr.

Ronald Baum Sr., age 52, of Joppa, MD, died on November 23, 2009 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Henry "Russ" Baum and Angelina Adline Di Blasio Baum of York, PA. A graduate of Joppatowne High School, he was employed as a supervisor with Pizzagalli where he worked in excavating and construction. He had previously owned and operated Baum Excavating, Inc. in Harford County, and was a great inventor, having several patents on his inventions. He was loved by all who knew him and would help anyone with anything.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Christine Ann Kaufmann Baum; sons, Ronald Baum Jr. and Jared Baum, both of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Justina Joette Baum of Bel Air, MD; brothers, James "Fred" Baum and his friend, Faith Camilleri, of Aberdeen, MD, Mark Keith Baum and his wife, Gina, of Stewartstown, PA; sisters, Deborah Ann Fischer and husband, Eugene Fischer III, of Fredericksburg, VA and Theresa Ellen Carrico and her husband, John Paul, of York, PA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
