Ronald Barry Bowen

Ronald Barry Bowen, age 65, of Pylesville, MD, passed away on March 28, 2013 at his brother's home in Bel Air, Md. Born in Elkton, MD, he was the son of the late William Albert and Elizabeth Margaret Maddox Bowen. While, Mr. Bowen grew up in North East, Md, he spent his teenage years in Baltimore, Md, where he graduated from Baltimore City College in 1965.
In addition to being a veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Bowen was a business entrepreneur and owned and operated a detail shop. He was Commodore of the Trojan Harbor Yacht Club and enjoyed boating and water activities. He was also a member of the American Legion in Whiteford and the Darlington VFW. He was an avid reader and his favorite past time was being with his family.

Mr. Bowen is survived by his son, Jonathan William Bowen and wife, Amy, of Pylesville; daughter, Marlene P. McNamee and husband, Frank, of Delta, PA; brother, F. Michael Bowen of Bel Air; sisters, Pat Bowen of Fairfax, VA, Nancy Oliver of Lafayette, IN, Teresa Yoder of Bel Air and Barbara Thomas of Incline Village, NV; and grandchildren, Jonathan William Bowen Jr. of Pylesville, Austin McNamee, Cody McNamee, Hunter McNamee and Zachery McNamee all of Delta, PA.
