Roger Lee Brewer

Roger Lee Brewer, age 65, of Joppa, MD, passed away on December 19, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Marion, VA, he was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Lena Mae Sawyers Brewer. He worked for Bonita Farms in 1964 and had been a lifeguard at Hamilton Park. He also had worked, for 28 years, in concrete construction and was a member of the Carpenter's Union. He enjoyed fishing and dancing.

Mr. Brewer is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley K. Gibson Brewer of Joppa, MD; sons, Robert Lee Brewer and wife, Shari, of Abingdon, MD, Richard Lee Brewer of Mebane, NC and Anthony James Brewer and wife, Cindy, of Colora, MD; sisters, Betty Osborne of Roanoke, VA and Peggy Brewer of Havre de Grace, MD; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
