Roger K. Jorgenson

Roger K. Jorgenson, age 83, of Bel Air, MD passed away on December 24, 2016 at his home. Born in Austin, MN, he was the son of the late Henry Alfred and Gina Amelia (Dyrland) Jorgenson. He was the youngest of 13 siblings and only one survives him. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for 25 years and was a member of Local #37. A mechanic all of his life, he worked on cars, trucks and all heavy equipment. He played guitar and was very musically inclined. He loved to travel and to spend time outside.

Roger is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Jorgenson; two sons, Edwin Paul Jorgenson and wife, Mendy, of Delta, PA and Kenneth Roger Jorgenson and wife, Robin, of Bel Air; daughter, Ellen Marie Jorgenson of Bel Air; two granddaughters, Christina Ann Jorgenson and Amanda Rose Oldenburg; grandson, Sean Adam Jorgenson; and sister, Ethel Ollman of Salinas, CA.
