Roger D. Robbins

Roger D. Robbins, age 75, of Darlington, Maryland passed away on August 14, 2021 at his home. Born in Smyth County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clarence Reedy and Mary Ann (Phipps) Robbins and husband of 55 years to Sandra L. Robbins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a hydraulic mechanic for many years in the trucking and waste management industries. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music on his upright bass and C.F. Martin guitars. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids and his antique cars, a '59 Ford Thunderbird and ‘65 Ford F-100 pickup.

In addition to his wife, Roger is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Gordon, Jr.) L. Coggins of Hanover, PA; two grandchildren, Joshua A. and Ashley L. Coggins; two brothers, D. Warren and Dennis A. Robbins; and his beloved dog, Precious.
