Rodney Lee Wood, Sr.

Rodney Lee Wood Sr., age 86, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on October 17, 2022 at his home. Born in Elkton, Maryland, he was the son of Frank and Mildred (Nickle) Wood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Lion’s Club. Rodney was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a jokester and was funny as hell. He had a passion for golf and gardening and was a baseball fan. Rodney loved spending time with his family and friends.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anita Wood; sons, Keith (Denna) Wood and Rodney Lee (Kate) Wood, Jr.; daughter, Kimberley Wood; brothers, Kenneth Wood and Wayne (Barbara) Wood; sister, Betty Paige; grandchildren, Michael (Eileen) Wood, Rachel L. (Brian) Humphries, Sarah K. (Casey) Vincenti, Kayla M. (Ethan) Wood, Amber N. (Austin) Wood and Patrick A. Wood; and great grandchildren, Charlotte Wood, Adalyn P. Humphries, Brayden L. Humphries, Camryn R. Humphries, Dustin J. Vincenti, Peyton H. Vincenti, Bryce A. Wood and Nolan M. Wood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Estelle Bulette, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Wood and brothers-in-law, Bob Paige and Charles Roland Bulette.
