Roberta Smith

ROBERTA SMITH, age 85, of Edgewood, MD, died on June 2, 2007, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Agusta Traphofner Kelly and the wife of the late Ned A. Smith. She was an accountant for the U.S. government and retired after 35 years of service. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Joppa, MD, and of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Abingdon, MD. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and eating out.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Jackie Smith of Edgewood, MD, and one grandson, Andrew L. Smith of Edgewood, MD, one brother in law, Robert Smith and his wife, Betty of Coldwater, MI, three sisters in law, Mamie Mortimer of Des Moines, IA, Rosemary Brewer of Bronson, MI, and Evelyn Hampton and her husband, Kenneth of Kewanee, IL.
