Roberta Lee Gardin

On January 27, 2022 we said our final goodbyes to a loving sister, mother, stepmother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. Roberta Lee Gardin (George/Elliott) was born on April 18, 1939 to Robert Lee and Anna May Elliott in Perryville, MD.

She is survived by her sister, Deborah Elliott of Abingdon, MD; her sister-in-law, Pat Elliott of Bel Air, MD; her daughters, Marcia Cullum, Tammy Laubach and Michelle Robinette and their spouses Donald Cullum, David Laubach and Randall Robinette; her stepdaughters, Jane Backert, Gardin Carrol and Jeanie Arno and their spouses Michael Backert, Mark Carroll and Clarence Arno; her nephews, Scott Elliott, Adam Elliott, Dr. Brian Desaulniers and Matthew Desaulniers and their respective spouses; Valerie Elliott, Chrissy Elliott, Bridget Desaulniers and Preston Benally. She was a loving grandmother to Crystal Laubach, Alicia Pullen, Ashley Williams, Sarah Cormody and Josh Pulkett; step grandchildren, Jeanette Vietti and Julie Taylor. She was a cherished great-grandmother to JP Sibila, Addison Sibila, Cole Holmes and Mack Holmes. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Anna May Elliot, her late husband, George Gardin and her brother, Mike Elliott.

Mrs. Gardin retired from the Bank of America where she had been employed for many years and was a graduate of Kenwood High School. She loved traveling to Wildwood Crest, NJ with family during the summer months to enjoy the beach. A favorite past time was to visit the casinos in Atlantic City. She adored her two Yorkshire Terriers, Gigi and Bella.
