Roberta C. Kappel, age 86, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on March 16, 2022, at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mildred (St. John) Cruickshanks and wife of the late Edward Herman Kappel. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, and traveling, especially to Bermuda, Florida, Vancouver, and California.
Roberta is survived by her son, Stephen Kappel of Jarrettsville and his wife, Marty; daughter, Susan Moeser (nee Kappel) and her husband, Tim; and four grandchildren, Zachary Moeser, Rebecca Kappel, Ian Moeser, and Andrew Kappel.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Parker, Frances Thumma, Barbara Athey and Nancy Hembree.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grandview Christian Church, 2022 Fallston Road, P. O. Box 358, Fallston, MD 21047.
