Robert T. Scarff

ROBERT T. SCARFF, age 80, of Forest Hill, died at his home on July 9, 2005. Born in Sharon, (Forest Hill), he was the son of the late Harry Everett and Ella Elizabeth Treakle Scarff. He had retired after 37 years of service with the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company where he worked as an electric supervisor. A lifelong resident of Harford County, he was a member of Centre United Methodist Church, dedicated to both the church and the cemetery. His family said he was also a dedicated family man. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a Purple Heart Veteran

Mr. Scarff is survived by his wife since September 1943, Esther G. Scarff; one son, Robert Thomas Scarff of Forest Hill: one daughter, Linda S. Christensen of Forest Hill; one grandson, Brian Thomas Reed and his wife, Karey; and twin great-grandchildren, Alexander Robert and Anna Elizabeth Reed, all of Stewartstown, PA.
