Robert Scott Stearns

Robert Scott Stearns, age 57, of Edgewood, MD died on December 15, 2016 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Massachusetts to Earl Eugene and Kazuko (Fukuchi) Stearns, lived in Germany for several years as a child, then spent the remainder of his life in Maryland. He worked for many years at Belko Corporation, then at the GE Appliance Distribution Center as a machine operator.

He is survived by his son, Robert Levi Stearns, and grandson, Brayden Levi Stearns; also, his sisters, Nancy Jean Sprouse (Steven Sprouse) and Linda Sundberg (Kent Sundberg) both of Clarkesville, GA, and Karen Wiley (Jeff Wiley) of Essex. He is also survived by his nephew Derek Sundberg and nieces Adena Meninger and Samantha Wiley. His parents predeceased him.

Robert was a sensitive soul who loved nature, stood by his friends and felt injustices upon others more acutely than any he bore. A private family service will be held at a later date.
