Robert S. Osborne Sr.

ROBERT S. OSBORNE SR., age 65, of Darlington, MD, died on August 14, 2007 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Osborne Jr. and the late Dora D. Stencil Osborne. He was a heavy equipment operator with Local # 37. A member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Street, he enjoyed singing in the choir. He loved his family get-togethers and mowing grass, and he enjoyed running rabbits with his beagles.

Mr. Osborne is survived by his son, Robert S. Osborne Jr. of Darlington, MD; three daughters, Dolores A. Revell of Darlington, MD, Melinda R. Bond of Asheville, NC, and Mary E. Osborne of Darlington, MD; a step-brother, Rick Miller of Rising Sun, MD; a sister, Dora D. Gilbert of Havre de Grace, MD; step-mother, Grace Osborne of Rising Sun, MD; and ten grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Dolores Osborne.

Pallbearers will be Robert Osborne Jr., John Collins Sr., John Collins Jr., Robert Smith, Robert Ridenour, Samuel Berkentine, Mitch Revell, and Mike Cornett.
