Robert Rust Jr.

Robert “Hillbilly” Rust Jr., age 69, of Bel Air, MD passed away on September 29, 2018 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Robert Dale Rust Sr. and Ruth Pauline (Helmick) Rust. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked in the construction business. He was very interested in cars and hot rods. Robert was a friend to many.

Mr. Rust is survived by two daughters, Rachel Hickey and husband, Cliff, of Havre de Grace, and Rebecca Spurlin and husband, Dewey, of Perryville; two sisters, Betty Adkins and Judy Ramey; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Taylor, Alyssa Morgan, and Savannah Spurlin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Donald Rust, David Rust, and Linda Taylor.
