Robert Richwood Marshall, Jr., 50, of Forest Hill, MD passed away suddenly on October 15, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. He was born on October 11, 1965 in Somers Point, NJ, the son of Carol Marshall (Fliesch) and the late Robert Richwood Marshall, Sr. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kean College and a Master's in Business Administration from Loyola College. He was married on May 15, 1993 in West Milford, NJ. He was Administrator of Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Associate Faculty, Department of Health Policy and Management, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He was a member of Saint Alban's Anglican Church in Joppa, MD, being active in the vestry there and serving during mass.
Bob is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda Marshall (Richter); sons, Christopher R., Benjamin R. and Nicholas J. Marshall, all of Forest Hill; brothers, Paul W. Marshall of Princeville, HI and J. Peter Marshall (Jean) of Vineland, NJ; sister, Suzanne E. Benson (Brian) of Spotsylvania, VA; and grandmother, Beatrice L. Marshall of Pitman, NJ as well as father- and mother-in-law Joseph and Franziska Richter of Readington Shores, FL; brother- and sister-in-law Richard and Joni Richter of Louisville, KY; four nieces, two nephews, a great-niece and a great-nephew.
During his teenage years, Bob was a junior member of the Decou Hose Company in Hamilton Township, NJ, then a member of Absecon Emergency Services in Absecon, NJ. He was active in the Methodist Youth Fellowship of Absecon Methodist Church.
As a father, Bob served as baseball coach and Cub Scout leader. He was dedicated to his family and was a loving husband. He spent much of his life caring for people and placed service to others only behind his service to God.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert R. Marshall Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
