Robert Norman Kammerer Sr.

Robert Norman Kammerer Sr., 84, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on May 3, 2015 at Future Care in Baltimore, MD. Born in Joppa, MD, he was the son of the late Walter Norman and Cecilia Jeanette (Weaver) Kammerer, and husband, for 50 years, of the late Mary Dorothy Kammerer. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He was a hard working family man and enjoyed reading and writing poetry.

Mr. Kammerer is survived by his sons, Robert N. Kammerer Jr. of Havre de Grace, Joseph W. Kammerer Sr. of Aberdeen and Walter D. Kammerer of Port Deposit; daughters, Ellen Ogurek of White Oak, WV and Joyce Rowe of White Sulpher Springs, WV; brother, David Kammerer; sisters, Dorothy Miller, Anna Morrison and Ruth Minick; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son Henry A. Kammerer.
