Robert Wayne Morrison, affectionately known as "Bob," age 82, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on January 9, 2025. Born in Forest Hill, Maryland, he was the son of the late D .Robert and Natalie (Niceley) Morrison and the beloved husband of Helen (Radke) Morrison. Bob and Helen shared a beautiful and enduring marriage of 63 years, having been high school sweethearts. Their love and devotion to one another were an inspiration to all who knew them.

Bob was a loving and proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him immense joy, and their visits were the highlight of his days. He cherished every moment spent with his family and took pride in the strong, loving bonds they shared.

In his younger years, Bob was a legendary slow-pitch softball player for various Harford County teams. His passion for the game and his skills on the field earned him admiration and respect. Beyond sports, Bobby was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, crabbing, and especially waterfowl hunting. His friend Butch had a lifelong goal of catching a fish in every state. They shared many memorable adventures with their wives Helen and Karen as they traveled together to national parks. Their final trip together was to the Smoky Mountains, a testament to their shared love of nature and exploration.

Bob worked as a machinist at Kopper’s Company, which later became United Container. He was dedicated to his work and took great pride in his craft. At home, he found satisfaction in maintaining his yard, spending countless hours tending to his landscaping and ensuring his lawn was always immaculate. Bobs love for his Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Rusty and Sandy, was evident in the way he treated them as cherished members of the family.

Bob will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and zest for life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Helen, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends and loved ones who will deeply miss him. His life was a testament to love, loyalty, and the simple joys of family, friendship, and the great outdoors.
