Robert M. Maners

Robert M. Maners, age 70, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on September 22, 2011 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Van Bibber, MD, he was the son of the late Morris Allen and Carrie Ilen Bowers Maners. A lifelong Harford County resident, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in civil service for many years as a construction inspector. A longtime member of American Legion Post #39, he also enjoyed going to the beach and watching baseball.

Mr. Maners is survived by his wife of 49 years, Constance Faye Maners of Bel Air, MD; son, Duane Maners and wife, Sherrie, of Jarrettsville, MD; brothers, John Maners and wife, Joeann, of Bel Air, MD and Ronnie Maners and wife, Kathy, of Clear Spring, MD; sisters, Betty Geier of Bel Air, MD and Darlene Grace of Edgewood, MD; and two grandchildren, Kyle and Kassidy Maners.
