ROBERT LEWIS BRADLEY, SR.
On 23 February 2003, Robert Lewis Bradley, Sr, of Bel Air died at his home. He was 75. He was the beloved husband of Ethel (nee Sparks) Bradley, devoted father of Robert L. Bradley, Jr. of Bel Air; Thomas S. Bradley of Bel Air; and Charles F. Bradley of Shepherd, Texas. He is survived by four grandchildren, Megan Bradley, Andrew Bradley, Sean Bradley, all of Bel Air and Jeanne Marks of Baltimore. Also survived by three brothers, A. Thomas Bradley of Hanover, Pennsylvania; David W. Bradley of Delta, Pennsylvania; and Franklin M. Bradley of Aberdeen.
He was born in Delta, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Andrew Thomas and Gertrude Williams Bradley.
He attended Randoff Macon Military School, graduated from Dublin High School in 1946 and Strayer’s College in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 39 of Bel Air and the V.F.W. of Rosedale. He had retired from General Motors in 1985 where he was a budget accountant.
