Robert (Bob) Lee Hull, age 67, of Port Deposit, MD passed away on July 25, 2017 at his home with his loving wife. Bob was a graduate of Aberdeen High School and worked at York Building Products in Aberdeen as plant superintendent until he took early retirement. He enjoyed raising chickens for many, many years with his two closest friends, Tommy (Bozie) Jordan and his father, Bayard (Bozie) Jordan. He loved to play Texas Hold'em Poker from sun up to sun down and go hunting and fishing, especially with his wife, Sally, where they would try to out fish each other. He also loved to go to Skyline Drive with her, where they traveled many, many times including on their honeymoon. Bob was an avid horse player and his passion for the horses began at a young age. He played and talked horses with his granddaughter, Treazure, which gave him great pleasure. He loved football and was a New England Patriots fan with "Shady Brady" (as he called him) and always rooted for the team win or lose. He played with the family poodle, Gam, which brought so much joy to him. He would sit for hours and throw the ball or other toys for him to fetch and would always say "Spud go get it". Bob would always say Gam was his best bud. "Gam" was short for Gambler because the family loved to gamble.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Richard and Helen Virginia (Puffenburger) Hull, grandparents, Joseph and Ruby Puffenburger and Bertha Hull, his first wife Lola J. Hull, his baby sister Linda Sue (Hull) Mitchells, his brother Richard Hull, and his two closest and dearest friends, Bozie and Tommy Jordan.
Robert is survived by his loving, caring and devoted wife of 16 ½ years marriage, but have been together for almost 30 years, Sally (Gruber) Hull; daughter, Michelle Hull (Harold Miles Jr.) of Pennsylvania; step daughter, Catina Baumgardner of Havre de Grace; son, Robert Hull of Rising Sun; step son, Zack Fowl (Amanda Donelson) of Port Deposit; granddaughter, Treazure Morningstar (Nate Hall) of Pennsylvania; two step granddaughters, Nicole Baumgardner (Mike Ringgold) and Courtney Baumgardner (Kenneth Kite), all of Aberdeen; and one step great grandson, Jayden Lee Ringgold of Aberdeen, who he called "Bob's little man".
Bob adored his family and was a fantastic, devoted, caring and loving husband, father, stepfather and step great grandfather. He is going to be sadly missed by his loving family and all who knew him.
