Robert L. Rinker, age 68, of Edgewood, MD, died on August 25, 2009 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Stella Myrle Murray Rinker of Dundalk, MD, and the late Lee Preston Rinker. He retired from Bethlehem Steel, where he worked for over 33 years. A Harford County school bus driver since 2005, he also worked, for four years, at Gunpowder Falls Golf Course. He loved fishing, golfing, playing horseshoes, and was a Boy Scout Leader for 3-4 years.
Mr. Rinker is survived by his wife Catherine F. Rinker of Edgewood, MD; sons, Robert Rinker and wife, Deanna, of Edgewood, MD, Jeffrey Rinker and wife, Michelle, of Darlington, MD, Mathew Rinker and wife, Holly, of Jarrettsville, MD, Brian Rinker and wife, Jamie, of Cecil County, Keith Rinker and wife, Jessica, of Edgewood, MD, Donna Lamon and companion, Justin, of Aberdeen, MD; brother, William G. Rinker; sister, Alice Rappold; 12 grandchildren; Jeff Jr., Heather, Bob III, Corey, Teagan, Joseph, Stone, Carol Ann, Seth, Pyper, Taylor, and Sadie; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, John P. Rinker and sister, Barbara Ziegler.
