Robert John Meninger

Robert John Meninger, of Joppa, MD, died at the age of 74 on October 13, 2016 at his home. He was born in Baltimore, MD to Robert Adam and Audrey Marie (Plantholt) Meninger. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving our country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being at the beach and telling stories. In 2002, he was a heart transplant recipient.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary M. Meninger; his sons, John P. Meninger (Pamela) of Dundalk; Timothy R. Meninger of Joppa; Stepchildren, Cheryl L. DeFabio (Mark) of Mt. Airy; Richard L. Jones (Megan) of Essex; his grandchildren, Alexander and Luca DeFabio, Rylee and Austin Meninger; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy A. Ringgold and Carol A. Freeland.
