Robert H. Sturgill

Robert H. Sturgill, age 76, of Cockeysville, MD, died on July 19, 2010 at his home. Born in Ashe County, NC, he was the son of the late Roy Neal and Verna Logene Atwood Sturgill. He loved history, especially the Civil War, and reading.

Mr. Sturgill is survived by his wife, Blandina Felicia Sokolis Sturgill of Cockeysville, MD; son, Robert Dale Sturgill and wife, Anne M. of Abingdon, MD; daughter, Robin Ann Mikulan and husband, Michael of Fair Grove, MO; step children, Kathy Flynn and husband, Doug Powless of Cockeysville, MD, Tim Flynn and wife, Tress of Ellicott City, MD and Molly Haney and husband, Ron of Arlington, TX; sister, A. Grace Carey and husband, Tom of Seattle, WA; and grandchildren, Joshua E. Sturgill and wife, Becka, Sarah Sturgill, Noel and Autumn Haney, Brendan and Caroline Flynn; and sisters-in-law, Betty Sturgill of Forest Hill, MD and D. Patricia Sturgill of Abingdon, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Reece, Ivan, Worth and Aldred (Pete) Sturgill.
